Came here for really late lunch on a Monday. Everywhere had their kitchen closed by 2pm and the staff at Sierra are friendly and happy for us to order. We ordered big brekkie and creamy mushroom. Both are delicious, great portion and made to order. The place is not the fanciest, compared to those along Hurstmere Rd but the food and service definitely made up for it. $36 for two, without drinks. They have self-service lemon water.

We had Nachos. and some fries. Decently priced. Had no complaints about the nachos, they weren't bad but wasn't the best thing either. It was nacho chips topped off with a massive pile of mince with random peas in the mince. I'm not a big fan of peas but my friend was so she gladly took them. There was also a serving of guacamole on the top and that added to the nachos quite nicely. Fries were crispy, normal fries.
The service was excellent!! the man serving us was very polite and friendly when he took our order. He even came back and topped up our water by giving us another jug of lemon water! This was great service and to top it off, after we finished our food he came back and gave us a warm muffin on the house. Wonderful service. Made me feel warm and fuzzy.
The cafe was nearly empty since it was a Thursday afternoon, but we sat outside during the summer so it was nice. The cafe, tables and chairs were clean and there was free wifi!
TLDR; food was not bad I guess but the service was awesome!
Great overall atmosphere, amazing service! The owner is very friendly and a great guy to have a conversation with. Had the Rosti stack with smoked salmon and their homemade rosti has to be the best one I’ve had so far. A pretty good value of $2 muffin when ordered with a coffee. Would recommend for a casual lunch out with friends or family :)
Tip: Sit outside if the weather is good!!
Love this cafe! Always yummy food & coffee, staff friendly! Bathroom is bit yucky though... definitely needs work & in dodgy place but overall love coming here with my family
Really like this cafe, that make really yummy food and I love their salads, good coffee also. The staff are friendly and its a cosy little cafe off the main strip so not packed all the time

Food here is always amazing. Friendly staff and great variety to choose from. From a mini baby breakfast through to pancakes and french toast for breakfast and a great lunch menu. This cafe is highly recommended.

I went here on a rainy Sunday and to be honest wasn't expecting too many people to be out and about, however Sierra was jam packed with all the tables full - luckily we got a table to fit all 7 of us. The waitress was very friendly and catering and filled all our glasses with water as soon as we sat down.
I wasn't expecting too much after seeing the rating and having been to other Sierras around Auckland. However I was pleasantly surprised!!
The food is some of the best I've had.
I opted for the French toast with bacon, banana, maple syrup and blueberry compote. Best French toast I've had. Ever. The toast was nice and crispy on edges but fluffy as well. The banana balanced the savoury tasting of toast, and the maple syrup, bacon and blueberry compote added that extra bit of sweet and saltiness to the dish. It was also presented beautifully. The portion size was just right and I didn't feel over full after eating it.
My boyfriend had their equivalent of a big breakfast which included bacon, baked beans, mushrooms, sausages, tomatoes, eggs and a hash brown (more like a potato hash cake). It was a very generous plate in terms of the difference components, the only thing my boyfriend said was that their was only one piece of toast which he didn't find was enough for everything on the plate.
Overall we were super happy and pleased with the meals we were served as well as the service!
Was definitely worth the drive out from Botany!!
My Partner and I head there every weekend for coffee and love it. The "long black" he has is the best he has ever had. Even so much so that we had to turn around one day and go back for a second.
Once a month we have brunch there and the food is delicious.
The staff are great and always make us feel welcome.
Special mention to the owner - Amazing. Such a friendly up beat guy

The New owner is one of the most pleasant and helpful we have encountered. He makes a point of making his customers feel special whether ordering a meal or just coffees. The coffees are excellent, the meals are of a very high standard and the service is good and all the staff are extremely polite and pleasant.
We have our coffee there at least four times each week often with cookies or cake which are very tasty. To date we have only eaten the brunch but cannot fault it.
We had a team meeting at the cafe. The food is awesome! And chef, Eddy is nice. Highly recommend.
Very good place to have breakfast ! The coffee is good (yea because not a lot of places provide good coffee. But they do), the menu is short and effective, the food is excellent and all of it for an affordable price. I love going there, I'm never desappointed. :) Keep that way guys !

Very nice cafe with great customer service, great food and coffee! There were five in our group and when we finished eating we weren't rushed out infact we were given a beautiful plate of cake slice nibbles. I really recommend this cafe. They have gone the extra mile to encourage us back! Thank you!
Have been going to this Coffee shop for some time now. It greatly improved when Ace and Ada took over. the service and coffee and food were excellent. Was a little concerned when they decided to leave. However Kevin and David make excellent hosts and the food, coffee and service continue to the same high standard. The interior could do with a little refurbishment but the atmosphere is friendly.

An awesome cafe, always opens early, in a great location with plenty of parking and awesome coffee. The new owner is fanatical about customer service and runs a great team. Recommend it.
