Great place. I had the Tom Yum mushroom soup. It was one of the best I have ever tried. Asked for the Kiwi spice, 1 chili on their scale, and my lips were on fire. A very nice waitress must have realized my face and offer to change it for mild. I was very grateful and enjoyed every bit of my soup with Jasmin rice on the side.
This was a jackpot! A real original Thai-Taste how I like it. My Pad Thai was amazing and we got a lunch soup as well. For just 22$. I will come back if I will be here ever again :)

Super nice food tasted in Timaru. Lili that served us here was very friendly and kind. She recommended delicious food and responded to our request promptly and always fulfilled our request above average. Highly recommended!
We were there this afternoon for lunch. Super friendly and patient waitresses, chef and boss. Delicious and marvellous authentic Thai food. We love the braised pork knuckle, red curry, Tom Yam soup and beef dish. The chef was kind enough to accommodate my husbandβs request for one of his favourite Thai dishes minced pork omelette that was not listed on the menu. The Thai chef obliged and cooked it for him. Aroi mak mak!
P.S. We all over ate!!!

Legit Thai food with local Thai chefs in the kitchen. The food taste was sublime and the spice level was perfect (medium will suffice for maximum enjoyment, unless you like real spicy). Portions for curry/soup were rather small for group sharing, but made up in taste. Definitely recommend dining here.

Always a fantastic experience dining at Sukothai, Papa (the owner) always goes above and beyond for his customers. We have just come back from Thailand and still prefer to eat the food at Sukothai, unmatched , always delicious and great attentive staff. Love coming back
Really nice food staff friendly. Got the platter but 1 side was wrong no problem replaced the side. Will be back.
