I got an egg burger & a battered sausage.
At $12, I felt the burger was a bit expensive... A better price would have been $8-$10. That said, eggs are expensive at the mo, there currently being an egg shortage. Plus the cost of living is through the roof so the price wasn't completely over the top.
The battered sausage was large & well priced.
Overall, I was happy with my meal and would happily repeat it.
I should note that this establishment normally offers roasts & pizza but none were available today.
A lovely wāhine took our order. Food was cooked fast and yum. Nice large portions of fish (sign says 100g but seemed much more). I really enjoyed their mussel fritter. Friendly and efficient.
Great food & service. Very affordable.
Good fish and chips. My 2nd or 3rd time here. Good sized meal. We just had fish, chips and crab stick.
You are now our go-to chip shop as we travel north.

Stopped off here twice now lovely service and an absolutely awesome fish burger think it's the best one i have had since coming to New Zealand you definitely won't be disappointed with the size unreal value for money chips were also lovely and my partner had the beef burger he said it was also very nice! Forgot to get some pictures will grab one the next day
A year ago, we ordered 5 fish burgers and it filled the spot for my 4 boys and myself. The boys raved how huge they we. Yes we spent a couple of dollars more but it was worth it. Thank you so much
