I ordered something which I thought was pan fried and it came deep fried and well, I’m not supposed to eat deep fried. Coffee delicious tho and service from the lovely front of house with a delicious accent unbeatable! Loved being there, we go about 3-4 times a year as it’s like 35 mins from home, never disappointed. Except when I fail to ask questions 🤦‍♀️ French toast looked amazing and the eater confirmed!!

What a team of hospo heroes! We arrived on a busy sunny Sunday arvo. Lovely gentleman offered to move one of the outside tables from the shade to the sunshine on the grass. Magic spot looking at the water. I Took my mum. Same guy brought water to our table while I was inside and he chatted to Mum. She was beaming when I came out at how wonderfully he’d treated her. I noticed he was the same with all the other customers. Took the time to make everyone feel special despite the cafe being busy. We ate a lovely meal of prawns n salad and had a great iced coffee that really hit the spot. An equally lovely and accommodating lady brought our food to the table. These guys deserve a Michelin star for their service. Truly passionate about what they do and show great care for their customers. Nice selection of food at reasonable prices too. And you can’t beat the location. A genuinely perfect experience. Thanks team 😊

We had a wonderful experience at this cafe and will be making it a regular brunch spot, for sure! Beautiful views through spotless ceiling to floor windows no matter where you sit inside. A very clean, warm, tidy cafe with wonderful and knowledgeable staff and a tried and true menu. The food was served promptly and was fantastic, as was the coffee. We enjoyed the French toast, the Greta, 2 coffees and some warm chocolate cake with cream to finish up. Would definitely recommend dining here if you are looking for somewhere locally-owned to support that provides a fantastic experience and leaves you with a warm belly and smile.

There's parking directly opposite if you are lucky. The waiter greeted us as we walked in and took us to a table, providing menus. It was too windy today for the outside tables but there is that option. Because I wear hearing aids I struggled to hear him speak behind his mask above the chatter of the other diners. The menu had a good range of choices plus there were muffins and sandwiches in a cabinet. The teapot had an insert for the English Breakfast tea-leaves which was nice to see rather than a teabag. The iced coffee looked and tasted yummy. There was room between the tables to pull out chairs without bumping others and to walk to the Restroom which had a nice decorative accent in one corner. Plates were cleared away without us feeling rushed. Stop and admire the view of the water as you leave or wander into the historic Evans Bay boat slip next door and read the panels detailing its history

I was very impressed with everything. Trim mocca was great and scramble egg with smoked salmon was very delicious and the price is also reasonable. My friend also had egg benedict with bacon and was very nice too. The ocean view is beautiful to see. We are planning to go there again 👍

After dropping our friends off at the airport, we stumbled across Greta Point café. And to say we were impressed would be an absolute understatement. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious! I cannot remember the owners name (apologies), but she was an absolute delight! Talked to our twins, entertained them and treated them very well. To see how the regulars come in and interact with her, tells us all we need to know about this place. We would happily make the journey out from the Hutt purely for the food and people.
