We had a lovely night at MariLuca Ristoro. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We ordered the gnocchi and half chicken and it was delicious. Such an amazing and authentic restaurant would highly recommend!
I've been here a couple of times and have always remembered this place fondly. Really has a craving for Italian pasta for the whole week and was so excited to come back!
We decided to share 3 pasta dishes instead of getting one each, and it was such a good idea! We didn't get sick of the richness of the dishes cos we kept changing around, sand got to try 3 different flavours at once. Originally the duck had the most potential in our head but the sauce of the gnocchi blew me away! Then the linguine was just wow, honestly I saw olives in the ingredient list and I wasn't very keen but turned out to be the best dish of the 3, the flavour was beautiful and the kick of the Chili was just right, the only down side was at the end of eating all these we felt like we could easily fit another one as we weren't very full. At the end we all ordered a tiramisu which apparently they don't use any alcohol in it, pretty good I'd say, definitely ticked my Italian food craving off!
Lucked in on having lunch at Mari Luca, the staff service was top notch, the food was great though I would recommend some dishes over others.

- Tiramisu is a must try, one of the best I've had.
Great carbonara pasta, very filling and rich flavour. The risotto was pretty good too but a bit too watery. Service was amazing, very friendly and helpful staff ❤️❤️❤️ loved it!!!
This spot has quickly become my favourite restaurant in Wellington, with fantastic service and delicious meals. You step inside and you are immediately greeted and made to feel at home. The gentleman who I’ve seen there a couple times is an attentive expert at his craft. The other servers are also excellent
Next the food! It’s perfectly portioned not too big not too little. The flavours are perfectly balanced with lots of depth!

Just perfect. Fine dining, great service, comfortable relaxed setting and wonderful food. Every item or group ordered was excellent. Not the cheapest place but worth every penny. 2nd visit and will go back for more. Bonus was being able to park literally outside both times.
This restaurant was a lucky find, very close to our Hotel. The food is amazing! We will definitely be returning on our next Wellington trip. Very friendly service, just missing a little music to set the scene.
Great little Italian place quite hidden but gives you a real Italian vibe. The pasta is same test as in Italy, really worth it even though it's quite expensive
Great place for cozy dinner with loved ones.
Entree are delicious and awesome. Recommend the seafood.
Mains are filling and mildly tasty. You may want to use pepper if you prefer a heavier taste. Recommend the Linguine.
Delicious food and nice service. Will be keen to go back next time I'm up in Wellington. Would recommend booking, as seemed very popular.
