The chicken raisukaree is a must! I have it most of the times I come here and it’s always perfect. The only problem I have is that often the food will come out at different times if you’re in a group.
WAGAMAMA IS ******* AMAZING!!!!!
I recommend the Raisukaree! It’s one of the best coconut curries I have ever tried!!!
Believe it or not but the best cocktail I’ve ever had In my life is from Wagamama too! Make sure you try the falling water cocktail!
I cannot wait to be back!
Chicken pad Thai is amazing! I need to come back here and try their other dishes! Lovely restaurant layout and great atmosphere, wine is priced well too.
I went with my wife and 2 children.
The food was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The waitress even made a plan after my son made a combo order and realized that there wasn’t ginger beer on the kids’ menu.
Wagamama es siempre sinónimo de comer comida china y asiática en general de la mejor calidad. Su servicio es muy bueno, los lo ales son lindos y, lo que no es poco, limpios. Y lo mejor es la alta calidad de sus platos, todos dan para compartir.
Absolutely delicious. I got the yasai coconut broth ramen. It had house made rice noodles, mushroom, sweet potato, onions, chilli and tofu. It had a smoky but sweet flavour which was very very delicious and would’ve gone well with a nice glass of white wine. The portion was really quite big. It did take a little while to come out but was worth the wait. The restaurant is a very loud place with music and and open kitchen.
What I like about this place, is that it's open late. Not really late but enough that you can rock on in at 9pm and have your food in 20mins or less. My partner and I arrived after a movie, he'd never been therefore I ordered for him. He's a 3 veg 1 meat non adventurous, kind of guy. The safest option for someone like this is probably the cha han donburi which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also ordered edamame. I had chicken and prawn teppanyaki and a side of squid. Both were yum. I've had curries from here before but never had much luck with the spices, I ask for mild, I get hot mild! Not worth risking it! Only thing is, I hate the seats. Wish I could move them. Maybe they're uncomfortable so you don't hang around too long!
Very good choice for big groups! Food is good, desserts are also good.. Our food did take a while but it was a busy night so it was understandable.. I was very pleased to realize that even though our food did take a while, our whole table got served within 2 minutes, so there was no awkward periods of half the people on the table eating while the rest are watching! also I found there was a good variety of food. from noodles, to soups, to stir fries, to curries! My favorite dishes are the yaki soba noodles and the katsu chicken depending on wether I feel like a curry or noodles! big portions of tasty comfort food! ❤️
My dining experience at Wagamama was awesome. I ordered teriyaki chicken and chilli squid, I have never and will never order those dishes from any other restaurants ever since. I loved it so much. will be going back this after. one little thing I didn't like was the size of the dessert, it was too pricey for its size. maybe lower the price or increase the size of dessert?
I went there for my 15th birthday and it was pretty packed but but they still managed to pull of keeping a bunch of teenage girls happy! I ordered the chicken ramen and made the broth spicy, which was $20 and some pork dumplings for $11. To be honest the dumplings were a bit too pricy as you only got 5 but they tasted amazing! The chicken ramen was really nice too and the portions were huge! I also have a nut allergy so when I told them they were very helpful and made sure it was all good. It took about half an hour before they came to take out order and an hour before we got any food but the place was packed and very popular so i suggest bring some friends to while away the time but its a great restaurant and I will definitely come again 😁
Absolutely delicious food and fantastic staff. Can get very busy on a Friday or Saturday night but food always comes out piping hot! Decent sized portions as well as a beautiful view of the waterfront and hills. A great place for a catch up, date or family dinner :)
Although service was a bit slow at times (understandable due to how busy it was), the food I had here was really enjoyable! Their ramen bowls are massive, and there's a wide selection of drinks, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, to start off or wash down the meal. I'll definitely be back here!

Not bad....little bit disappointed with the food. Chicken overcooked, but fantastic favours in the soup itself. Beers was tasty...nothing on draught tho. Worth checking out. The view of the harbour is outstanding.
The photo posted is not quite the same view...but gives you a flavour of what you may be able to see...particularly if you sit near the windows during sunset. Hope that helps.
Been here a few times and food and service is always good. This time squid, prawns, baked fish and chicken washed down with warm saki. Highly recommended
Food was tasty and filling.
The food is traditional ramen-type restaurant food and as a bonus the menu has nice little explanations what the dish is like.
The place looks very clean and orderly. You can see the cooks in action. The service was quick, welcoming and friendly.
The location is by the beautiful Wellington quayside and the place has a good view to the ocean.
I definitely recommend Wagamama.
Took a chance on a busy school holiday Sunday night without a booking, they managed to seat us (4) after a few minute wait. An extremely very popular place, large communal tables & bench seating. A loud space, but ok. Not somewhere for an intimate romantic date, but great for large parties, though book ahead to ensure you get a table. Food is Japanese and other Asian styles fused together, rather delicious. Vegan friendly with many options. The food comes out as prepared to ensure it's hot and the flavours & spices are optimum at serving. We enjoyed the Bang Bang Cauliflower, it wasnt deepfried (like some places serve), sweet & spicy. I had a Yasai Itame, a noodle, tofu & vegetable green lemongrass coconut curry. It was labelled as spicy, but I got no spice, that was ok though, I added the sauce from the Bang Bang Cauli to it, cause that's what I do! My family ate meat dishes, they looked good. A great place to keep vegans & meat eaters happy. Staff were very friendly and helpful for us first time Wagamama diners. Highly recommend. Priced affordably and large portions. Our family of four, with 2 teens, 3 entrees, 3 mains, 4 drinks & a side of rice ~NZD117.00.
Really good food. A little expensive but totally worth it. Most dishes can feed 2 peckish people or 1 really really hungry one
First time diner at Wagamama - was given a menu by the friendly waitress and I noticed that, although all of the dishes looked divine, there was nothing listed as Gluten Free. I asked the waitress if they catered to those on gluten free diets and much to my surprise she pulled out a dedicated gluten free menu! I couldn't believe it - a decent amount of dishes to choose from too, rather than the usual limited options you tend to get at restaurants. After much deliberation I decided on Edamame as a starter, followed by the Chicken Teriyaki Raisu as a main. The portions were HUGE (another plus!). Great dining atmosphere, friendly service (shout out to the awesome Scottish waitress) and a menu that caters to those on special diets. The best dining experience I've had in a long while...thank you so much Wagamama.
Incredibly well located with great view from the harbor. Kids menu well served and presentable. My donburi was tasteful but need more attention on the visual presentation. This helps the customer to open the apetite. Almost got 5 stars.
Great Location, Nice food and fast service
