Fantastic! best pizza I have eaten in auckland. It is pricey ($30 per pizza) but the slices are huge and one pizza feeds 2 people for sure.
Sal's is the best! I'm an American expat and Sal's fulfills my longing for real American pizza. Plus, Nikko's crew at the Mt Wellington store are the best. I've never experienced such great customer service here in New Zealand. Keep up the great job!!!!
Absolutely amazing, best Sals I have been to. The garlic knots here are incredible, not sure what they do to them but they are delicious. The pizza was put together really well, and tasted delicious as always. Staff were very friendly and made the order really quick, despite it being a Friday night.
Finally found a good pizza place and an authentic NY pizza! We ordered the usual cheese and pepperoni half and half pizza — and both ate just mouthwatering. We also had the buffalo wings but wasn’t impressed at all — expensive and not delish. I will not order the wings again, but will surely be back for other flavours of pizza.
UPDATED: If you’re after an authentic New York style pizza, Sal’s is the best place to be. This is my third time with them. Their pizza is huge and almost all flavours are tasty. I will definitely come back to try other flavours. Other than that, forget about the rest on their menu like the wings and all — small servings and pricey. If I didn’t order any side dishes i might give Sal’s 5/5.
Sal's Manukau produces boss pizzas, exactly what you want and expect from the New York style pizza. We tried the new flavour- 100 pepperoni black garlic, the cheesy umami spicy goodness is a winner. Cheers team, always worth the visit.
I don't often review places but this Sal's has improved heaps lately! Really good vegetarian pizzas and lovely, quick service. Would recommend.
Yummy big slices of pizza. Nice treat from the usual pizza hut, Domino's & Select pizza.

Cheese pizza tasted like spaghetti sauce with a little bit of cheese, not what it used to be like before, cold atmosphere otherwise customer service was great 👌

Just want to give a heads up to those that would love to experience Sals pizza, be sure to be financially prepared on the chosen day okay.
Anyways, this place overall has such a magnificent ambiance, it's got such a relaxing vibe, staff is amazing, the menu is over whelming to begin with lmao, so many to select esp my first experience. I had chosen their "THE SALS NBL STEAL" which was half&half pepperoni and cheese. Allow the pizza to rest for 3-4 mins before taking first bite. First bite for me was heavenly. Best decision made to try it out.
Give it a go. If not sure what to grab, ask staff and they will guide you with their best selling pizza. Also 18 inch pizza is massive as well, grab a half if alone, I dined alongside with my partner which 18 inch was enough for him and I. We are big eaters, trust me, the size is massive than regular pizza hut/domino's pizzas.
