美味しいですよ!!!
My first time visiting today. I had the very reasonably priced chicken karage set and it was yummy - easily as nice as any I've eaten in Japan. Next time I'll give the ramen a crack.
ごちそうさまでした!
Amazing food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ordered 17 plates for pickup/takeaway - group order. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals, value for money and was ready within 20min. Quick and friendly service, will definitely return again!
Such a cute and cozy Japanese restaurant.
I had chicken karaage udon with soy sauce base while my boyfriend got chicken miso katsu chicken with soy sauce base. We both enjoyed our meals and found them really tasty, they were generously portioned too. Really affordable as well and really nice friendly service! Highly recommend :)
This my go to place for lunch from work. I have tried all the vegetarian dishes they have on the menu and every single one is delicious not to mention how huge the portions are. They could definitely add more vegetarian items on their menu though.
Favourite casual Japanese lunch!! Their servings are huge and so value for money! As authentic as you can get as their chefs are Japanese ☺️ everything on their menu is so good but personally their pork katsu curry and chicken soy ramen is such a good combination to get!
Really tasty lunch set. All the ingredients are nice and fresh. Delicious but stull really healthy. That's what i really need for my lunch.
Delicious lunch sets. My friend works across the road and I love eating here when I visit him. Pork terkiyaki zen is my favorite. Very good pricing too for good quality meal!
Service: 4/5

Environment: 4/5
Food Quality: 5/5
Food Quantity: 5/5
Price per person: $15-$20
Firstly, I don't recall when was the last time I've given an eatery a 5/5, however Kojiro deserves the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!
#1 - Authentic Japanese
#2 - Good value for money
#3 - Broad variety of dine-in and takeaway options
#4 - Friendly service
Ramen was well portioned and delicious. Broth was great and the best part was the perfectly cooked egg. They gave a full egg instead of half an egg vs. many Japanese restaurants in Auckland these days which only give half an egg and you'll need to pay an extra for the other half (as extra topping).
I would recommend the small Don unless you are really hungry. (Just a reminder to avoid any wastage) :)
P/S: Free tea when dining in.
I highly recommend Kojiro and will definitely be back! Arigato 🙏
I go quite often for lunch with my colleague, and as few people have mentioned, it’s difficult to find if you are not looking for it. I drove past it for 6 months and didn’t notice until I was looking for new weekday lunch place on here.
The food is good, but I wish they didn’t change their menu, as the old menu was really good price for money. Miso soup and small Danburi dish for $9. But the new menu no longer comes with soup.
I’ve had chicken karaage and pork katsu, both pretty good. However, the flavours are quite sweet so I had to cut back on the frequency after I started commuting often (1ce a week).
I don’t recommend the ramen though. I think I had the pork kakuni, but it was overly sweet and oily on top. I would keep to the rice! Sushi is ok, not bad but quite average I felt, the vinegar is quite weak. Maybe it’s more to kiwi taste (I’m Japanese).
Went here for lunch today with some friends, it was my first time here and I will be back for sure, especially as it is just round the corner from where I work :) great selection on the menu, great taste and quick and friendly service. Highly recommend
Amazing food, definitely recommend the Karaange Chicken, but turns out they don't take table bookings, even though its written here that table booking is recommended. Went once and decided to go again but book before going, but the lady asked to either come earlier or much later for lunch.
I had the seafood special and it was delish. Highly recommend their special meals as there's always something new to try. This time they had a spicy fried chicken and it was amazing!!!
Good food and nice taste, but the portion is small and a bit pricy. Free parking outside.
Been here for years and would always come back. The Chicken Miso Katsu is to die for 🤤
Great food. So far I have only ordered pork katsu x3 for lunch for delivery & once dine in. Foto is from the visit.gotta scan the barcode to pay, a little bit confusing for me.
Such an unexpected gem! Very impressed from our first visit. The beef sukiyaki nabe was amazing and flavourful - haven't eaten a proper sukiyaki in a long time! The kaarage chicken was also fantastic, with two amazing sauces. Overall an amazing Japanese kitchen with great menu variety. Will be coming back for sure.
I tried Chicken Miso Katsu Zen. The menu was really good, the chicken was tender and juicy inside, crispy outside, with special sauce on it. The salad was fresh and tasty. The miso was good. Kojiro provided free hot and cold drink, which I really enjoy.
Waiting time a bit long for Japanese restaurant, especially during lunch time.
This place is very popular at lunch time so get in early! The food is priced exceptionally for the quality and quantity.
The made to order is very extensive and provides good options for vegetarians. There is fresh sushi available. All food is available as takeaway.
One of my favourite cheap Japanese restaurants.
Excellent food. Very delicious. Fast service and lots of Japanese options. Also available is sushi
Good food and choices, can get busy during lunch times. Enough parking available as well for cars. I think they make their own using noodles...
Delicious and well presented Japanese food.
The restaurant seems and looks well looked after. Friendly staff. Can be a little pricey for a quick lunch meal.
