Best roast place I've found since moving to Christchurch. Jury's still out on the potatoes, but the rest of my meal was delicious. Friendly staff, demonstrating easy teamwork and excellent carving technique. Food served piping hot. Great place to grab something on your way out of the mall--maybe I'm getting old, but malls are a bit too loud for me now to enjoy sitting and eating in the food court.
Value for money. Good tasting roasts within minutes. Lots of meat and veg! I've been back a few times and the service is always good, friendly staff. I'd say reliable grub on the go at great prices. While the food is fast and tasty, the venue itself is in a shopping mall so it's pretty loud with lots of people walking past. It's not a restaurant - maybe this is why they can offer good food at good prices?
Great food, friendly service and a reasonable price. Noticed that the police eat there regularly so it must be good value for money!! I had the pork and my friend had the beef, both with roast potatoes, vegs and gravy. Very filling. Also took grandson on another occasion - he's a bit of a fussy eater but he cleaned his plate.

I had a door dash incident and had to go in and pick up my own order. The staff at Royal Roasts and the manager are amazing! Very friendly and helpful and even went out of their way to give me a couple of free drinks of coke. Happy as 👍😁

Great meal options here at Royal Roasts Riccarton, upstairs at the east of Westfield mall opposite the movies entrance. Can also get there direct from the multi storey parking building n use the walk bridge across.. had a great meal n enjoyed it all.. got get a roast..
Great roasts / have had the the pork and beef ones and are great, and potions are very generous, but the big draw card for me, is those lamb shanks! My goodness they are tasty!, whoever is cooking the lamb shanks, I salute you Sir/Madam. They are scrumptious!
Great value for money here, the meat is good but could use a little bit of salt. However the staffs are lovely and when I noticed that there was something wrong with my order they were happy to remake it. Will be back here for sure

What wonderful lunch meals we had here. Very tender meat (the melt in your mouth type), with kumara, potato and mixed vegetables on one, and a fresh salad with chips on the other.
Very tasty indeed. Service was friendly and efficient.too. I'm almost certain we'll be back
My wife has special dietary needs, so when visiting Christchurch, especially the Westfield mall in Ricarton. Love the food generous portions. 😋

Royal Roasts upstairs in Riccarton Mall, is situated close by Hoyts movie theatre.
The staff are so helpful.
On my way out after a morning movie, I always grab a small $14 takeaway roast. So yummy and fresh.
My daughter got today, a large $20 roast, which is 2 meals for her larger appetite.
Very good sized portions.
No need to go through the mall, as parking upstairs, takes you straight to the movies and my favourite roast takeaway.
Try them when in the mall, or for those that live alone and no longer cook, go buy one from Royal Roasts. 👍
Love this place but it's no longer there! Missing the awesomeness tasty roast meals!
