We had the privilege of trying out a couple of their options at the Riccarton market this morning and absolutely loved it, the meats was so tender and delicious would highly recommend them for any function......just awesome
We had our Xmas party Saturday night and they did a great job! The food was outstanding. Beautifully presented, delicious; Akaroa salmon, smoked pork and lamb, amazing salads and dressings... as well as GF ... All very yummy! Lovely meeting you both!
Dined here for the first time and over all experience was just great! The lovely lady that was wearing the glasses gave us excellent service! The food was amazing, highly recommend this restaurant.
We came for an advertised Thanksgiving dinner, and it was fabulous. We learned they had trivia night too. We’ll definitely be back because the entire experience was wonderful.
Thankyou heaps to our waitress! She did a great job accompanying us, despite being the only front of house member on that night. I got the brisket reuben and it was bloody awesome. Brisket was a little dry, but otherwise great flavours, and the pulled pork burger was great. Atmosphere was calm and there was lots to look at around the restaurant. Absolutely hissin, cheers guys!
Wow what a great location! This is just what Woolston needed - a great option for dinner and drinks and have some laughs with excellent and friendly staff. Nothing is a problem and the staff that serve you love being in hospitality. They are freaking awesome. Get in before it gets too busy!
Amazing smoked meats! Went for a Sunday roast awhile ago and love it so much that we booked Cory in to cater our wedding.
Wedding food was fantastic, travelled 45min from restaurant to venue and was just like eating it at the restaurant. Fantastic price, service and attention to detail. Thanks to Cory and the team for making our day a success.

You simply must book Smoke 'n' Barrel for your next catered event! Corey is organized and efficient. The food is spectacular, and the service is second to none. Your guests will be impressed! The vegetarians and vegans raved about their beautiful smoked mushrooms, tofu and eggplant. 10/10 would recommend!
Cory and the team did an amazing job catering our wedding they were so adaptable, professional and open.
They helped us create the menu that fit our event, did a special desert request and were so communicative and easy to deal with.

Smoke and barrel catered for our small wedding including travel to little river. They provided incredible service and very competitive pricing. The food was phenomenal and the guests throughly enjoyed it. There was plenty to go around, even for our bigger eaters. Having the team there was one of the absolute highlights of our day and we would absolutely recommend booking them in Cory and Renee made the process so easy and enjoyable.
