ooooh China Palace Buffet nights are THE BEST value and quality Chinese and Kiwi food alike! I highly recommend China Palace for a great time. Very family friendly and they even handle large family groups! They have Karaoke too!

Have been there many times, Excellent service, Top food and well displayed and extremely reasonable in price.
I would highly recommend this Restaurant to anyone visiting Gisborne as well as the local's.

Really nice meal for first time eating here. Entree deep fried crumbed scallops were very nice. Main pork with vegetables and rice was very tasty. Good drink selection at very reasonable pricing. Good service. Easy on street parking. Would go back again.

First time review of this restaurant. 5 stars all the way. We opted for a dish for each person and white rice on the side. As opposed to buffet for four people. Clean and tasty food. Fast service. Attentive and removal of empty dishes on point. See you next time.

Arrived judt before 9pm. Looked after us nothing too much effort. Staff great but the food, simply amazing. It will feed the 2 of us for the next 4 days.

Yes that's a busy place, so be prepared to wait a while. Phone order what you can. Portions aren't generous i thought, for the 5 choices, for $15 isn't cheap.

Very delicious kai 5 stars every dish has its own flavour and definitely not bland. Many choices from the menu and well worth the price. Cocktail menu old school and the best out - do not change🍹. Very friendly staff and fast service. Well done Gisborne China palace….. job well done 💯 PS Roast duck next time plz.
