The Food Is great and the Staff are awesome, one staff member in particular is a great asset to your team - Angela. She is always so cheerful when we stop by to get our food and is always attentive and willing to help. Would recommend this restaurant to all

I decided to go to Mad Mex at the base. It was only an extra 4 minutes from my house. Yes in peak traffic as I needed to sleep at 8pm. But anyway. I was craving some Mexican food and boy did they not disappoint. Walking towards the place the two female staff was laughing which to me made me smile as I enjoyed the vibe they got. The girl that served me was so wonderful and kind that it just made my day. I got my food and was eagerly waiting to get home to enjoy my food and when I finally did. I dug into it straight away and I can say my craving was satisfied. You could taste all the flavours, everything tasted fresh 😍 Honestly this is by far the best Mexican takeaway and was worth the peak hour traffic drive. Must go to place!!!

Great place to venture to when attacked with Mexican food cravings. I always enjoy the food here, only wish that staff offered more sauce/ toppings (or had an extra salsa/ toppings bay, a la Mexicali).

Obviously not a fine dining experience but still FAR more superior than Mexico Restaurant in regards to "authenticity" (although authentic still a long shot)! At the price, well worth a visit!! Spicier the salsa, the tastier your meal will be! Also... another reviewer who gave 1 star posted about Mad Mex forgetting their fries... Never seen fries on the menu! But why order fries at a Mexican restaurant?

10/10 service and food! I was served by Esmee and she was super friendly and approachable. It was my first time having food at Mad Mex so I had no idea how anything worked. She took the time to explain everything to me and was super nice. Thank you Esmee and Mad Mex. Will 100% eat here again.

I had the best experience at Mad Mex at the base. The customer service was outstanding and Esmee was so helpful when taking and serving my order, and catered to all my food requirements (dairy free/vegan). Food was amazing and would recommend to anyone

Mad Mex has the best food in all of the food court at Te Awa. I go here atleast once or more a week, the food is always nice and fresh and there is always plenty of chicken/beef/pork in everything I order. The staff are friendly and always eager to please. Quite possibly the best Mad Mex franchise I've been to. If you enjoy spiciness try the green habanero sauce its a must have with the quesadillas! Im hungry thinking about it!
