Having gone into this place with high hopes and seeing that the prices were a bit more than most other places I'd have to say, they met them pretty well, the eggs Benedict was very nice and the presentation was great. The only downside being mine and my partners drinks came out 5 minutes apart, but otherwise, the staff were friendly and it was overall a good experience.
I see the bad reviews are all from 2013 and older. Which makes sense as it has new owners since then. This cafe is one of the best in the area. The breakfasts are fantastic. The best coffee. In summer their fruit smoothies are so refreshing. The cabinet food is always amazing. And the staff are friendly and helpful. Top that off with the setting of a garden centre. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch or a pick-me-up.

Me and my parents come here fairly often whenever I'm back from uni and we absolutely love it. The coffee is the best in Napier, the food is great (especially the fries) and very decent prices, and the staff are absolutely lovely and have amazing customer service skills.
The most awesome Cafe, loving it since the change of ownership. Took my daughter and grandsons for brunch and the experience was wonderful

Called in yesterday after shopping at Palmer's and to say that I was blown away by the service is an understatement.
Awesome food very attentive team Could certainly teach a lot of the other cafes in the area a thing or two.

This place has really picked up its act since Palmers next door closed. Good food, well priced, and a pleasant environment. Secure kids play area and outside shelter if raining but warm. Practical menu with some good kids choices. Our grandchildren love the place and,we love the food. Good coffee too.
Best Iced Coffee, very friendly and staff great. Love the fish and chips. Dogs are made to feel welcome with water bowls. We have had the breakfast here also and it was lovely. Lots of space for everyone to relax.

Went for lunch with a friend and I had a great time, ordered crepes with bananas and bacon and they are gluten free and absolutely delicious. Also got a coffee made with coconut milk. So good. Nice, quiet location

Great cafe and always enjoy coming here. My wife and I usually go on weekends as it is a nice place for brunch and a coffee. Have tried a few of their breakfasts, which are always excellent. Great coffee and service too. Will definitely keep coming back.
So lovely to find a cafe that protects the enjoyment of patrons by removing rude/disruptive customers. Staff will politely remove adults/children throwing tantrums and embarrassing themselves and others. Makes for a pleasant dining experience.

Fantastic venue surrounded by the floors of Palmer's finest. Under shelter, shade or out in the sun, your pet pooch is welcome to come along if they are well behaved or working dogs. Menu board or take your pick of what's available on display. Lots to look at, relaxed venue that is large enough for small groups or even privacy.
Great coffee. Good cabinet food. Home style cooking Outside playground for children. Wheel chair access. Good parking. Owner operated. Good value.
Today was our first visit. Awesome cuppachino and muffin. I had a custard and raspberry muffin and the others shared a bowl of French fries which came with aioli and tomato sauce. It also has a playground and colouring-in books available for the kids.
