Big thanks to the staff! Our little family had an excellent meal on Sunday night. Our two year old thoroughly enjoyed his meal and playing with all the toys. The desserts were sensational! I am not joking when I tell you the home made ham sandwich is THE best sandwich I have ever eaten!! Also the coffee - so so good! This cafe is so cozy and warm I loved it so much!

Homely and welcoming place. Food was good portion size and fresh. We had to sit outside as we bought our dog with us for lunch, which wasn't a problem until we realised there were quite a lot of wasps flying around, nearly stung our pup!

Great coffee, friendly staff and beautiful food! Such a great atmosphere especially over winter with the log fire warming the spacious dining area. Over summer there is plenty of outdoor seating and its dog friendly! They also do night service with a great selection of kiwi wines and craft beers! YUM!

What a wonderful wee cafe nestled so close to the mountain entrance road! Close to bus pick ups! Perfect place to stop for a coffee while we waited for our bus! Lovely staff! Food was on point! Warm with the fire blasting! - if you want fast friendly service this is the place to be guys!

I’m a local gal, and this was my first time at OCR!! Me & my boyfriend were searching for something chill and relaxing as we were hung over…. and this gem was hidden in plain sight! We had the OCR burger, and eggs Benedict, and mochas!! Omg the coffee!! 😍 We throughly enjoyed our meals and coffee! We definitely will be back!
