Great beers on tap and delicious fish and chips. Good selection of dishes on the menu. Staff are nice and friendly. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Good vibe and music. Kid-friendly too. I enjoyed reading little bits of history (and photos) about Speight Brewery and it adds character to the place. They have sports channel on the TV if you’re keen, NBA was showing whilst we were here. Excellent service. 👍

I thought this place was supposed to be far more... idk what, but _something_. Overall it is pretty much just a pub restaurant, but the only key thing I can think to say is that what they are apparently noted for is their meal portion sizes, great for a post-ski meal. Got venison on the menu, a few daily specials, and gravy with most plates which is enticing. I got the seafood chowder bc the idea of hot soup was enticing but the bread and chowder was pretty basic so not getting that again. Should have stuck with the other items I had my eye on.
We had great lunch there as the atmosphere in there is very cozy and food is awesome too.
They do offer lunch menu and it might be the chespest in Queenstown. It costs only $15. Steak with chips, ribs with chips and chicken schnitzel with coleslaw and chips are my recommendations. In case you are struggling with what to dine during lunch in Queenstown, the food there might suprise u.
Cool place for a cold beer. Parking close by. Food was pretty good too. Best platter In town. It was huge for one person. Great prices. Loved the speights low carb beer.....
The service was amazing from start to finish and the food from the $15 lunch menu was great, great flavours, generous serving size and served with good beer. Also did I mention how great the service was.
Very nice local brewery. Food is awesome. Great atmosphere. Warm open fireplace. Great tasting beer on tap. Friendly staff.
