Since it was so hot today, I decided to get a strawberry panna cotta ice cream. Having tried many movenpick ice creams such as crème brûlée, tiramisu, blueberry cheesecake, mango sorbet, cappuccino, chocolate and the classic vanilla. Strawberry panna cotta is one of my favourites as well as blueberry cheesecake and cappuccino. The ice cream was refreshing and super creamy. However, the scoop was slightly smaller than the Parnell branch but the cone was quite good

Stopped in here a while ago with the family after a nice lunch nearby, and everyone was so happy and loved it. The ambience is quite small but has outdoor seating so there is quite a big seating variety. The ice cream at Movenpick has always been my favourite due to the yummy variety of delicious flavours and the service here is always so sweet.
Love the ice cream here its always so yum and I love how they make their own waffle cones as they are the best tasting waffle cones ever!!! The ice cream flavours are so creative as-well they're almost gourmet. One of my fav places to get ice cream :))
Delicious flavours, highly recommend the Creme brulee, great service but okay pricing. Very near the beach so it's the perfect spot before the beach.
Probably the best spot in Takapuna to grab an ice cream, Movenpick in Taka is a reliable spot. Lovely staff, quick service and delicious ice cream. I’m a big fan of the dessert plates, this time round I got treated to a fudge brownie with vanilla brownie ice cream and it was wonderful. To satisfy your ice cream craving make sure to visit Movenpick in Taka!
They have great service and great ice-cream, it is good in a hot sunny day. Go there with friends and family all the time. They all ways have really good ice-cream.
After a bbq buffet, an ice cream dessert sounds pretty good. We got the flavor of the week blueberry cheesecake with berry sauce, nuts, and cream. The line wasn’t busy but there were still plenty of people lining up at around 9.30pm. The ice cream has a decent amount of blueberry flavor on top of a cheesy cake. I’m pretty sure we got more than 1 scoop for the price of 1 which is a bonus.

Stopped by after lunch for ice cream. Ordered the nut lovers dream shared platter.
There was only one person on (it was midday on a Thursday) so there was a little wait for ordering.
The platter was alright although the cream was over-whipped. Ice cream was nice like always.
There was a fairly nice seating area outside but it was quite small.
Friendly service, allowed to try a few flavours before you get to choose your favourite. Ordered Tiramisu and Mango & cream ice-cream, both of them taste lovely. I like how Movenpick blend the ingredients into their ice-cream, makes their ice-cream stands out from other brands.
A pretty good experience, the service staff are pretty patient and enthusiastic with their jobs. There are many flavours to choose from and the shop is clean and tidy. Everyone likes their ice cream.
Not bad but quite pricey for even just a kiddie scoop. The worker there was really nice and patient and let us choose 2 flavors for 1 scoop
This is a nice place. The ice cream is expensive but very good so I think it is worth it. You can try flavors and the man serving me was very polite. I took a long time deciding and he was helpful and funny.
The girls were super friendly and made us feel welcome! Customer service is great, everyone was so nice and helpful, especially after experiencing bad customer service at Dxxk Island. The portion of the ice cream is huge and the ice cream are very delicious. The waffle cone was very tasty and probably the best I’ve had in a while! I will be back!

Edit - Went to Movenpick Takapuna again this week. They were all out of vanilla brownie ice cream so I got the cappuccino ice cream instead (on the left of picture). It was really yummy! You could taste the coffee in it but it wasn't too strong or overwhelming. Also not very bitter.
Very helpful staff who gave us samples for tasting before buying. Ice cream was high quality and coffee was delicious 😋
Lovely lady staff that attended on us, couple of Fridays ago. Lava cake was well presented and as good as how it looks. The ambience is perfect and the ice cream will not disappoint.
