Perfect place to grab lunch and catch up with friends.
A bowl of chips and hot chocolate is a favourite for me and my friends. I can't comment on the other foods and drinks available, but the fact chips and hot chocolate is ordered everytime for us, obviously implies they taste amazing (literally best chips ever) and is a must try!
Service is average and seating inside and outside is alright. Overall, Columbus Coffee at Smales Farm is good.
Recommendations: Sharing a bowl of chips between 3-4 people for lunch is awesome.
Just your usual cafe for on the run.
I always appreciate the classic Bennie... and coffee catchups. Regardless of everything they maintain a good hygiene level which I am very grateful for.

I only come here now and again with a friend from out of town although I live extremely close but have found the food I order to be OK. Price wise can be expensive.
I have been there many times and have had no problems. I usually go with my ex-neighbour who comes up from Morrisville wen visiting Auckland.
Chips were fantastic, very flavourful and cheap for a big bowl! Lemon pepper made them addicting! Coffees a little over priced and shouldn't have as much ice in it though.

Really fab atmosphere and a real asset to the Smales Farm area
I like this place on a sunny Sunday morning. There are wooden foldback-bifold french doors all the way along, letting the sun flood in.
The morning-sun end of this huge place is set a good 10 metres back from the traffic, so on a Sunday morning, it just makes for a bit of pleasant 'watching the world go by'.
My smoked salmon magro (was it called a 'magro'?) was very yummy. An inch and a half wide, and not quite a foot long, it was spread with subtle amounts of cream cheese - perfect, and dotted with the odd caper inside.
I saw a couple of cheery staff members offering great customer service to the couple in front of me (free coffee cards, as something had gone wrong), and I was impressed! But then a different young lady who served me was quite abrupt in her manner when I suddenly changed my order from take-out to eat in (they hadn't bagged it yet, it was still heating). That young lady just needs to get some candyfloss into her smile ;)
Best soy flat whites & soy mocha's ever , their coffee is always consistently good. For amazing coffee check this place out, ask for Paige as she is the best by far in Auckland. I also noticed they have alot of gluten free product available onsite. A+ team.

We went here the other day for lunch, using a voucher. Staff were friendly, the place was tidy, and had a nice atmosphere. Between our table, we ordered coffee, a caesar salad, french toast, corn fritters and a BLAT, along with the side of fries. The coffee was promptly served, and was done perfectly. The food was very tasty, although the french toast could have been a bit bigger, along with the salad, so it was a good thing we ordered the fries. I hope they didn't give smaller portions because we were using the vouchers... All in all, I would come back here. Good coffee, good food, good service.
Great coffee.. I love the place so much. So convenient. The places also located in strategic place. Great coffee with sugar available on the table. The waitress is so kind. The price is affordable. Pleasant experience.
The biggest Columbus Coffee outlet I have ever seen in Auckland. Has plenty of indoor and outdoor place and is mostly busy. Have so many options for breakfast and lunch or even brunch. Great place for office meeting or group lunch and a casual catch up.
Enjoy this cafe especially in this area. Love the environment, businessman, students,housewives......

Good place for a casual coffee or breakfast. lots of seating. Friendly staff. Caffeine & classics takes place last sunday every month in car park near them. They cope well with the large crowds who come in.
Nice food, came for brunch with the family. Wait times aren't as long as other places.
Wouldn't recommend the ice chocolate though but other than that, the table of 8 had 0 complaints.
A large coffee shop and eatery offering a wide range of food options. The staff is good and efficient. The place can be busy in lunch hours and queues can be there. Food and beverage quality is good. Outdoor seating is available too. Parking can be an issue since it is limited in numbers. Overall a good one.
This is a great cafe with excellent food and service - a convenient meeting place for friends and colleagues. However, I won't be meeting there again due to several parking tickets. Don't take more than 90 minutes to confer with your colleagues - the parking attendant is very zealous!
Frappe was delicious and the food was good and quick to come out.
