Cool atmosphere and great music. It does get very crowded, but the outdoor beer garden is pretty good for escaping the crowd.

Great atmosphere at the Welsh Dragon Bar, open/garden area is very nice to sit out in the summer and enjoy a Monteiths. Some food and drinks are quite expensive but it makes up for it with the incredible service and great vibes.

Loved the atmosphere and vibe here. It was a great place to watch the football, and have some Welsh beers and spirits. The staff were great and service was fast.

Awesome pub meals. I had the homemade chicken masala pie, hubby had welsh chicken, and son had Bacon/beef burger. All so yummy. Great decor. Check out the ceiling mural. Handy walk from our motel. Will definitely be back.

Great to find a little pocket of Wales in the centre of Wellington 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 super warm welcome. Could do with some updating and better food options but everyone is struggling at the moment so maybe cost is an issue. Speakers were a bit loud. Nice to see it was busy, great atmosphere. Lovely selection of drinks including Wrexham lager.

Great pub and best roast dinner. You normally need to book 1 1/2 weeks ahead but came early and didn't know about the booking. Connor, the barman asked the chef if he could do an extra meal and he very kindly OKed the request. Lucky 😁😁😁. Booked now for 2 weeks time

Four stars for being different, passionate and staying loyal. Made the decision to cross the road to the bar literally built on an island in the middle of the road. Nice and relaxed, laid back and casual. If you weren't sure it was Welsh before you walked in you will be absolutely sure once you walk in and look at the numerous items and articles the adorn the walls. Staff are friendly and you might even see some true Welsh. Various seating options both indoors and outdoors. New Zealand's only Welsh bar and a title I'm sure will be difficult to take.

This has quite a nice locals bar feel to it. The building has a lot of character and the claim of being the only Welsh Bar in the southern hemisphere.
