Went here for the first time a couple year ago and have been a repeat customer since. In summer this is the place to have brunch!
The roastie stack is my go to and the chicken wrap. Pizzas are gorgeous also 😁
This place is my no. 1 go to for Kilbirnie bites. The food is very well priced and the menu has an interesting variety of options that all sound scrumptious. I like the staff heaps and it's nice to see an owner who cares about the spot. Great outdoor seating, cabinet food is also lovely. Very comfortable atmosphere, definitely a place to check out!
I was pleasantly surprised as I didn't realize this place was more than a pizza place. Their breakfast meals were delicious and HUGE! Well worth the price and the staff were very friendly. Yum hot chocolates and mochas. This will be my new coffee hangout and I will definitely recommend to friends. I cannot wait to come back to try their pizzas and pasta.
excellent food, every time. always so yum, massive portions, great price. the service can be hit and miss, they stare at you from behind the counter while you're reading the menu.. But honestly we go there almost every weekend for lunch. Never had a bad food experience :)
My wife and I went here as we had appointments in the area
My wife had the Cabonara Fettuccine and I had the Grilled Chicken and Bacon Burger
We loved the food and the staff are very friendly

Our friend had kumara rosti house with bacon. Poachd eggs hollandaise and avo.
Friend said was really nice kumara patties
And the best hollandaise ever.
Coffee was great.
Only thing have to say the tea that's friend had it was no flavor .
All come again and again.

Cheap and cheerful eatery. Very competitively priced dishes varying from $10 for soup and toast to $21 for fish, salad and chips. We had the marinara pizza at $20. We had the gluten free option and agreed it was the best gf pizza we have ever had. Its topping of prawns, salmon and capers was generous and tasty
Great place to go with your family. A huge menu with great food and great prices. This is the Mexican Pizza which was delicious.
One of my favourite things about this restaurant is that the staff are very friendly, and the restaurant has been family run locally for many years.
Great place to go with small children. There is an amazing children’s bookstore across the street and it makes for a great Saturday morning.
Family went to dinner here absolutely worth it the food was soo delicious the milkshakes were scrumptious and the price of our meals were well worth it. Good family place lovely atmosphere and great friendly staff. Definitely be back for more thank you
Right, so this place definitely seems to have changed. We weren't in at the right time probably, so I would give it another go, cos there was not much going on but the place around the corner was a queue out the door. Nevertheless we had great coffee that came exactly as ordered and the "cabinet food" looked great. Friendly service as well.
This little cafe is tucked away in Kilbirnie , in a small shopping plaza. It was one of a small number of eateries open on Sunday, and likely the only one not an international franchise. We’d stopped for a coffee but decided on a light lunch. I had the Seafood Chowder, and had to wait quite a while as the place was very busy. It was worth the wait; a creamy tasty chowder made with a mix of fish, including mussels and vegetables, topped with a sprinkle of finely chopped parsley. The garlic bread was more adventurous than most that are offered in cafes. The garlic butter was laced with mustard seeds, making for a brilliant addition to the fish.
My partner chose the vegan samosa, which was well received (a lot sooner than my chowder) with a crisp batter and sour cream accompaniment.

Excellent coffee and cafe style food at a reasonable price. Light and roomy with outside seating. Quick service and friendly staff.
Been coming here for 2 years and the big breakfast is amazing, so delicious, good portions and cheap prices aswell. The coffee is top notch and highly recommend. The service is consistent and friendly. Always making you feel welcomed. Wadha is amazing thank you for the service, best cafe in kilbirnie and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new cafe spot.

Another customer yelled at me about my high chair placement, but the food and service was worth the abuse haha. Loved the chicken and mushroom filo and my coffee was great too. Will be back ☺️
