We just love this cafe. Funky atmosphere, great service and awesome food. The special salad is to die for. Well worth the walk from the ferry if staying in Whitianga.

We have Visited numerous cafes and eateries but still keep coming back to eggsentric cafe .... the relaxed atmosphere , the warm staff and the really really great food
There is such authenticity at eggsentric that it really is a diamond amongst pebbles
Delightful cafe, eggs benny, delicious, gelato mmmmm mmm good and drool worthy orange cake. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful. Even the water in gin bottles made us smile. Will definitely be back.
This place is like a little utopia of amazing food, friendly service and beautiful spots to sit and watch the flowers and bees! There’s really not much in the area so we were surprised to visit this hidden gem! Not to be missed! Really good coffee. Sat in for a coffee once and came back to take lunch to the beach right across the road.
Our first time in Whitianga so we headed over to Cooks Beach and found this hidden gem!! Food was unreal!! The cafe itself was fun and quirky. And the staff were helpful and friendly. Great coffee too
This place is surreal. We were traveling to NZ for the first time in our lives, and our first meal here changed our outlook towards the culinary scene of NZ. They have homegrown products, very flavorful food and an amazing vibe. This place is a must try to experience NZ food and ingredients in all its glory. Thank you to the lovely staff and owner.

Amazing atmosphere, super nice staff. Great place to have a bite and some coffee. I would like a few more vegan options, but regardless, I will always stop by when I am around.
Wow!! What a find! Great wine and beer selection to start with, delicious food, fresh and flavoursome. Chicken salad was amazing, crumb mussels soo good and cream lemon fish wow! Whoever is in the kitchen high five! What a great job! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a lovely coffee and shared an orange and almond cake. Everything was presented well and delicious. The cake came with yogurt in a little dish with a pretty flower. The small details made a lovely experience.
Great setting along an amazing beach. Quiet and humble and delicious food and atmosphere.
We sat out in the front garden and had a coffee and pie. Was delicious and dog friendly too.
Looking forward to our next visit.

The garden was pretty and cute. Of course, the food was also yummy! It was the most delicious egg benedict I've ever eaten. The doggy whose name is maybe LENNY is energetic and lovely:)
