We both went for the steak meal, which I think was very pricey. Around the high $30 mark, possibly closer to $40, then $30. Small meal, steak, chips & tomato. The steak was cooked beautifully (re: photo). Came with garlic butter & aioli was an extra.
Our 6 year old had a kids burger meal, which she demolished in record time š¤£ & we all had a drink. All up, it cost $138.
The outlook is lovely over the beach, so if you like people watching, great spot for that.
We found the general vibe, feel & service is very same same average.
I ordered Mussels pot, grilled king salmon plate, kids pizza, salt pepper squid and margarita drink

The only this is that the food is extremely expensive eg: $32 for a salad with plain tofu, lettuce, pumpkin and corn and $32 for fish and chips.
However considering how nice the overall experience was and being right on the waterfront, I do understand the pricing, but just something to keep in mind when visiting for the first time.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stoked Restaurant on the Esplanade in Whitianga as part of a package trip with Air Auckland. The restaurant boasts a modern and stylish decor, with a perfect location overlooking the beach and bay. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. The food was of top quality, with generous portions that were both delicious and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the tempura prawns and can't wait to have them again. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Overall, I highly recommend Stoked Restaurant for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience in Whitianga. The stunning location, delicious food, and attentive service make it a must-visit destination.
The fish and chips was great and the brownie desert was amazing! Note that you have to order with your phone or a tablet which is the only negative we could find.
Awesome place, they made cocktails to our very random tastes and they all came out delicious. Had a chicken burger and it was most probably the best burger Iāve had in a long time. Would definitely recommend to ANYONE going looking for a place to eat and drink in Whitianga
Popped in for lunch and the mussels were incredible - a must have. Service was super friendly and food came out quickly. Make sure you have the jalapeƱo poppers - some of the best you'll ever have. Thanks team!
Overall we had a good experience. Although the pork ribs looked a bit burnt, they were actually quite tender and delicious. We appreciated the effort put in by the owner to make us feel welcome and the hard work they're putting in to run the restaurant during these tough times.
Most delicious and fresh mussels we've tasted! The chargrilled steak was perfectly cooked and juicy. The ribs was amazing and generous portion (2x layers of ribs). Definitely recommend coming here for dinner, the staff are very friendly too š
Really awesome place to relax and unwind with family and friends. Situated on the whitianga water front stoked has a great view of the bay and serves amazing food and beverages.
In side and outside seating options and heaters in both areas this is a place that has it all.
Great staff that are friendly and and this place also has wheel chair access for its patrons.
Loved the coconut curry mussels and blue cheese and mushroom pizza with a nice glass of reisling and a local pale ale
