Always an amazing experience.
We love the salted caramel, licorice, vanilla and chocolate flavours and ALL the fruit flavours as well, you can really feel the taste of the fruits.
Oh and the iced coffees and frappes, YUMM!
Ginger Snap is my now go to ice cream shop. It's pretty close to where I live so I pop in here heaps in summer with friends or family. There ice cream mmmh damn so fricken good 10/10 and they always have quirky dope flavours. Love this place and can't hype it up enough. x
My most FAV place to get ice cream, such a variation of delicious flavours and literally if u walk out a few steps your already on the beach in browns bay. Such a nice little snack to get after a swim, always see cute little kids running around outside asking their parents for an ice cream from here and i can see why.
Super cute and vibrant. Great ice cream selection with some delicious desert options and a pretty good coffee. Upbeat, friendly caring staff that will offer amazing service.

The man who served us was so friendly. Didnt get annoyed at us for trying too many flavours as some might expect!
One thing is if they had more seats itd be better!! Very limited small seating area but in summer u can take it down to the beach anyway :)

A very nice cafe that serves very good gelato for a great price.I must say that they are very generous scoops aswell and there is a wide variety of flavours.A nice place to go if you are at the beach on a warm day
The gelato is amazing~! Peanut butter chocolate chip was fabulous, however being a gelato it melts very quick!!!! So nom it up before it drips on the ground. Service was friendly, however I also ordered a flat white, I think the barista overheated the milk because it was very very hot and therefore the coffee didn't bring out the aroma Kokako beans have as I am a big fan of the coffee brand.
Gingersnap is the cafe to go to for your post-Sunday-market coffee and treats fix. The location is superb; I'm never sure why this whole strip isn't lined with cafes. There's one other, but Gingersnap is the best. The friendly staff make a spot on flat white and let me just say, brioche with a whole plum baked inside- genius! It always seems to be winter when I go here, so I haven't tried it, bit their gelato selection looks pretty awesome also. Go there.
Cool cafe in a great location. Love getting ice cream here and there is a wide range of flavors; and they change regularly. I especially love the choconut which is like a bounty style ice cream and I usually get the sundae which is decadent and indulgent. Great one for chocoholics!
If you're looking for the bat mocha you'll ever have then you've come to the right place :D awesome spot with super lovely staff. Oh and the ice cream blows penguino out of the water !
Delicious gelato!!! Would highly recommend and it's nice that it's pretty close to the beach -- you can have a great view. Disappointed that there were no waffles available, the staff were lovely and very apologetic. The brownie with hazelnut icecream I got instead was still very delicious and a very sweet treat. Soft and warm and delightfully chewy. The actual place is pretty small though, so good if you want to take away to sit on the grass or sit with a friend/date.

Best Gelato around and it's in a great location to enjoy it. I just had a dairy free chocolate sorbet shake with a shot of coffee and almond milk - SO GOOD! The shot was their suggestion, and I am glad they recommended it because it was delicious :)
Nice Welly Gelato, Kaffee Eis (Gellicious Gelato) - with beach front views and great coffee.
Outstanding quality Gelato and Sorbet. Gluten free options and safe handling of gluten and non gluten cones to prevent cross contamination.
Also, incredibly lovely and chatty staff who made the experience fantastic. Will definitely keep coming here before anywhere else nearby ❤️
What a great find - gelato and coffee! A big selection of ice cream flavours - very yummy. Coffee good too. Situated across the road from bay - great way to enjoy your purchases - sitting on grass with gorgeous water view. There is some seating available inside and out.
Always very friendly, beautiful vibe and awesome to see the innovation of the architectural firm in the back of the shop, I love the flow. It’s a very open, honest and clean feel and smart service and the coffee is great!! Yet to try the gelato.
A place for all of the family on warm and hot days. The Gelato they sell is amazing and the best in the area. The coffee is of a high standard. Good seating if not busy... but the beach and seating across the road can solve all seating issues unless it is raining
No trip to Browns Bay is complete before stopping at GingerSnap. This place might have limited seating but the ice cream is what you really are after. Delicious flavours which you can try first, and great portion sizes this place doesn't disappoint. The consistent friendly service brings us back every time. Love this place.
Lovely place. Stunning coffee, gelato and cakes! Service delightful. Very friendly with dogs and gives them treats. Muffin served with whipped cream and butter. Devine!
Great little combined eatery, coffee shop and Gelato Icecream Parlor.
They have ample parking outside and around the area.
Limited seating arrangements, but you can walk over towards the beach area and there is park benches to sit on.
Coffee is great and a good Affigato is served here.
The very best Gelato Icecream on the North Shore and the servings are huge. We tested different flavors and ended up having a Chocolate Sorbet (Super Chocolate Flavour) and a Passion Fruit Sorbet, very intense flavors. The different certificates on the walls is testament to the prizes won with the Gelato Icecream.
Highly recommended to future customers and the staff are very friendly.
